RSR tuned V-BAND headers
Headers are a major tuning component that can make or break your engine build. One size does not fit all applications when it comes to exhaust tuning. Our RSR v-band headers were designed as a light weight option for most 3.0L-3.4L applications. Can also be used for twin turbo or custom applications. Utilizing F1 merge collectors they are designed with the correct diameter and length primaries to optimize pulse timing, torque and horse power. It’s a shame to cover up mechanical art but you’ve got to stay warm so optional heat exchangers are available.
CUSTOM tuned long tube headers
Long tube headers produce a more broad torque curve which is useful for street and short track applications. Our headers are tuned using a primary length of 30″ +/- 0.25″ along with internally polished merge collectors. Collectors have double welded double slip joints to prevent cracking when using heat exchangers. Design is block hugging for maximum ground clearance. Headers are TIG welded 304 stainless offering a durable product at a bargain price for the quality and design features. For optimum performance headers must be sized properly for the application, stock or modified. Please call with this information and for lead times.
DUAL INLET SPORT MUFFLERS
Our performance dual inlet mufflers are designed with many different tailpipe configurations to give you the options you need to get the look you want. Still don’t see what you’re after? Custom tailpipe spacing is available, call for info. Dual inlet mufflers are designed to fit all 1973 and earlier 911 and later impact bumper 911 using headers or dual outlet heat exchangers. All can be used on 914/6, some may require valance modification. Mufflers shown are sport mufflers with that aggressive raw sound that just rips when you get on the cam! Mufflers come in shiny raw finish with brushed finish tailpipes. Custom full wrap valances are available to use with mufflers requiring valance modification.

All can be used on 914/6 with some requiring valance modification. Mufflers shown are our street version, designed to pass CA and track 95dB sound requirement when used on stock engines. A less aggressive idle than our sport version but retaining that raw sound that just rips when you get on the cam! Average cabin sound level at cruise is similar to stock. Mufflers come in shiny raw finish with brushed finish tailpipes. Custom full wrap valances are available to use with mufflers requiring valance modification.
ACTIVE EXHAUST FOR HEADERS
Now you can have the sound and performance of a Sport muffler combined with the tranquility of our Street muffler! Our Active Exhaust System for Headers is a true dual function muffler. At idle and cruise the exhaust flows through the STREET MODE path giving a nice tone that is a little louder than stock so you can enjoy that flat six sound while carrying on a conversion in the cockpit. Step on the gas and the vacuum operated valves open diverting flow to SPORT MODE. This path relieves back pressure allowing full use of tuned headers for the power and sound you expect out of your Porsche at speed!

Custom tailpipe spacing is available, call for info. Fitment for single inlet mufflers is all 1974-1989 impact bumper 911 using OEM heat exchangers. Sound level is highly dependent on the combination used. Each muffler has different sound level qualities to create the perfect combination for your taste. Optional tailpipes and baffling are available to further tune the look and sound. Mufflers come in shiny raw finish with brushed polished tailpipes. Custom fiberglass valances are also available for use with mufflers requiring valance modification.
CATALYTIC CONVERTERS, PREMUFFLERS AND BYPASS PIPES
At M&K the devil is in the details. One look at the inlet merge on our pre-muffler variants and you see they are like none other. Oversized inlets and outlets, smooth merge, free flowing pathway. Our catalytic converters are the most free flowing on the market. Add up to 18hp to your 911SC or Carrera and nearly double that figure when tuned to take advantage of the added flow.
ACTIVE EXHAUST FOR SC/CARRERA
Now you can have the sound and performance of a Sport muffler combined with the tranquility of a Street muffler! We have created a true DUAL PURPOSE MUFFLER for your SC/Carrera using the OEM heat exchangers. This muffler will reduce back pressure when you get on the throttle producing MAX POWER and a SPORT SOUND. Our Active Exhaust was developed on the dyno and tuned to open at an optimum flow level for these engines to perform at peak output, an improvement of 19HP was recorded for the 3.2L Carrera! Exhaust flows through the pre-muffler or catalytic converter and final muffler during STREET MODE . Step on the gas and the bypass valve opens allowing the appropriate reduction in back pressure to optimize power and sound. You choose the sound level at idle, cruise, and WOT. The baseline sound level is controlled by the final muffler. Use a stock muffler get a stock sound, sport muffler get a sport sound. The sound level when the valve opens is adjustable using the dump pipe baffle that is included. Leave the baffle in for a Sport sound, remove it for a Track sound. YOU control the sound while getting all the power possible! Carrera 3.2L engines get even more benefit when adding a matching chip that takes advantage of the reduced back pressure (chip not included). Active Exhaust can be configured to use a bypass pipe (loud) or pre-muffler (standard) or Sport Cat, or CARB cat, your choice. Everything needed it install this muffler and activate is included with purchase.
