Bypass Pipe

 

Pre-Muffler/Cat Bypass Pipe is designed for use on all impact bumper Porsche 911 1975-1989 models having OEM heat exchangers.   Weight is less than 5 pounds.   Designed for ultimate optimal flow using an F1 style merge collector, straight through 2.5″ diameter 321 stainless pipe, and oversized exit flange.  O2 sensor is located at the F1 merge for optimal reading of all cylinders.  When installed on the Carrera this product alone will match the performance increase seen when converting from the OEM exhaust system to standard 1.5″ SSI heat exchangers.  Sound level is more aggressive than OEM pre-mufflers.  Overall sound level is determined by choice of main muffler.  Complementary products are our MKM33 Single Outlet muffler or MKM73 GT3-Look muffler.
