Active Exhaust Installation

Congratulations! You have purchased THE most powerful single inlet exhaust modification for your 1978-1989 Porsche 911. Installation and operation were designed to be very simple with only metric wrenches needed. Please check our website, MKExhaust.com, e-mail or call if you have questions or need assistance.

Installation of the MKM32AE into the exhaust system is the same as any premuffler. Hardware is included with your purchase. Next choose a spot on the driver’s side engine tin to route the vacuum hose. A ¼” hole was drilled as shown but any opening will work.

Vacuum hose and T is supplied with the installation kit. Locate the vacuum source on the thtottle body and add in the line for the active exhaust valve. Route the line through the engine compartment to the valve.

Plug the vacuum line securely into the vac port on the active exhaust valve. Be sure to route the line away from any heat source such as the main muffler. Clamp on your optional tailpipe and enjoy
